Winnipeg Police have charged a local food store after discovering mouthwash and hairspray were being sold as intoxicating substances. The store was charged under the Liquor Control Act and Canada Tobacco Act with selling beverage non-potable intoxicating substances, and selling cigarettes in packages less than twenty. A 61-year old man and a 52-year old woman were released on a summons.
 
Winnipeg Police are looking for a suspect after a woman walking in the 300 block of Portage Avenue was robbed. It happened during the noon-hour Tuesday. A man grabbed her arm, demanded her purse saying he had a knife.
The woman wasn't hurt.
