The University of Winnipeg has risen one spot on Maclean's magazine's annual ranking of Canadian universities. The U of W is now 8th overall among primarily undergraduate universities. Brandon University is now 11th, last year it was 13th. The University of Manitoba ranked 15th out of 15 larger schools with medical faculties.
