Millions For Wpg To Headingley Divider
CJOB's Tamara King reporting
11/6/2009

More details now on that plan to divide part of the Trans Canada Highway between Winnipeg and Headingley. The idea is to divide a 1.7 kilometer long stretch of the road. It starts at the Husky gas station and ends at the John Blumberg Sports Centre. The project cost is estimated at 11.3 million dollars and will be split between the Provincial and Federal government. Construction is not expected until 2011 because Manitoba needs time to draft the plans which includes some land acquisitions.
