Record-high temps today beat record set in 1904
CJOB's John Copsey reporting
11/21/2009

Double-digit temperatures continued in Winnipeg and most of southern Manitoba today... indeed, setting a record-high for this date.

Environment Canada meteorologist Gary Dickinson tells CJOB today's high as recorded at Winnipeg's airport was 12.4 degrees, beating out the record high of 11.1 degrees previously set for this date in 1904.

Dickinson says temperatures will start to drop slightly next week, as south winds responsible for the recent warm trend will start to taper off.

Despite the drop next week, temperatures are still expected to be above the seasonal average.
