Stony Mountain Penetentiary remains in a lockdown state today as officials investigate the beating of an inmate Monday night. Prison spokesman Guy Langlois tells CJOB the victim was treated and released and is back inside the institution. He says the investigation is taking some time simply because of the number of inmates inside which number almost 500. Langlois says visits are still not happening and may not resume tomorrow either.*
