CentrePort Canada has signed a co-operation agreement with a similar transportation hub in Chongqing, China. Manitoba Premier Greg Selinger says it will enhance trade, and raise Manitoba's profile in the Asia-Pacific. Three priority areas are engaging in joint promotions, exchanging best practices and market information, and sharing technology.
