The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority has run out of one type of the H1 N1 flu vaccine. At the opening of Friday's clinics, they were down to two thousand doses of the adjuvented vaccine, the type recommended for most people. There are extra doses of the non-adjuvented vaccine, which is recommended for pregnant women but can also be used for people between the ages of 10 and 64 who have healthy immune systems. Medical health officer Dr. Sande Harlos tells CJOB another shipment of the adjuvented vaccine is expected next week.
Harlos says there will be two flu clinics opened this weekend.
