CJOB's Natalie Geddes reporting
3/8/2013
Next March and every March there after has been deemed "Perfect Attendance Month" at schools across the province.
The minister of education made the announcement at a symposium on the issue Friday.
As for the choice of March - Nancy Allan says that was made by the Manitoba Association of Parent Councils.
The minster says she doesn't know how that will affect families who take a few extra days for the March break.
The overall school attendance rate in the province is at 90 per cent.
