Patrick Sharp went upstairs on the backhand in what would be the decider of a 2-1 shootout win for Dallas over the Winnipeg Jets. The loss ends a 5 game road trip for the Jets, who picked up 2 wins on that trek.
Tyler Seguin opened the scoring for the host Stars with the only goal of the first period. Mathieu Perreault evened the score in the second period to take a 1-1 tie into the final frame. Neither team was able to add a winner in the third, or in overtime.
Andrew Ladd was the lone Jet to score in the shootout, while Seguin and Sharp scored for Dallas.
Connor Hellebuyck made 23 saves in the loss, the same day he was invited to the 2016 AHL All-Star Classic
The Jets take a few nights off before returning home to Winnipeg. They face Evander Kane and the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday.
