The Winnipeg Jets are bringing up a pair of Moose to fill in for a pair of injured regulars. Drew Stafford and Adam Lowry are both going on the retro-active injured reserve with upper-body injuries.
While the duo sits out, the Jets have called up forwards Patrice Cormier and JC Lipon from the Manitoba Moose.
This is the second time Cormier has been brought up this season, playing one game back in November. He has 12 points(6 goals, 6 assists) for the Moose in 2015/16.
For Lipon this could pave the way for his first NHL game of his career. The Regina native is 3rd in points for the Moose this season with 17 (8 goals, 9 assists).
Winnipeg kicks off a 6 game home stand Monday night at 7 p.m. against Colorado. The Jets are coming off back to back victories against Nashville and Minnesota to improve their record against Central Division rivals to 6-10-1.
