Freezing rain, snow and wind are making for a difficult drive today.
680 CJOB listeners are reporting difficult driving conditions on many highways around Winnipeg, particularly to the south.
Many highways are covered in snow and ice. Fog and blowing snow are creating very low visibility in some areas.
Some school cancellations are being reported.
Similar conditions are slowing down the drive in the city as well. Commutes were reported to be very long. It can be difficult to see your lane because of snow-covered streets.
Much of the southwest part of the province was under a freezing rain advisory, but those have been lifted.
Manitoba Hydro says they are not dealing with any major weather-related issues so far.
