Parents and police are being told about a woman who followed a girl to school.
It happened Wednesday morning, on Farmingdale Boulevard, in the Lindenwoods subdivision.
Pembina Trails School Division Superintendent, Ted Fransen says the student did the right thing.
“The driver honked the horn and called out to the student, inviting the student to get into the car for a ride to school. The student did not know the adult, had no knowledge of who this adult was, and said a firm ‘NO’ and continued on her way to school, and ran to school,” Fransen tells 680 CJOB.
Fransen says letters went out to parents at Linden Meadows school and another one nearby to inform them of the situation.
The suspect was driving a black four door car and is described as a woman in her 40’s with dark curly hair and dark complexion.
