That’s all about to change.
Starting Monday, when you call 311 it will sound a lot different, with three new menu options.
One will send you to a rep that specializes in assessments and taxes.
Another connects you to someone for animal services.
The third transfers you to TeleBus for transit information.
It’s part of a plan to make the service better for callers, by reducing wait times and giving better information.
