There will be much more money for sick children in our province than ever before. Over one hundred and seventy thousand dollars was raised in the Children’s Hospital Foundations Book Market this past weekend. That’s 56-thousand dollars more than last years sale in February. Book Sale Coordinator, Carol Irving, tells 680 CJOB the money goes to two libraries in the Children’s hospital , and to research.
There are 3 sales each year of the donated books. You can drop off unwanted books to any Fire Hall in Winnipeg, any day of the year.
