Furthering education is on many people’s minds. This week in Winnipeg you can ease your curiosity.
On Wednesday it’s the University of Winnipeg Open house. It’s a casual event with a chance to apply on the spot.
Ashley Dunlop is student recruitment coordinator and tells 680 CJOB about what else is going on.
We’ll have campus tours, presentations by our President, some mini-lectures, so students can sit down in a classroom with a real professor.
Dunlop notes why the school is a good choice.
“It’s a really great learning environment where students can have access to top quality academics and programs.”
Dunlop adds that small classes and a caring learning environment helps transition people into the academic world.
The school invites anyone who has questions, or any interest in post-secondary education to attend.
