Above freezing temperatures, with some rain, fog, and ice wasn’t a good mixture with traffic this morning in Manitoba.
Conditions were icy on the perimeter, some highways and even in the city. Fog made visibility an issue, closing some roads and even the TransCanada highway for a few hours.
The worst of the issues involved a rollover on St. Mary’s road that sent one person to hospital, and three semis involved in a collision on Highway 1, west of Elie.
Light snow is in the forecast for the next few days, making the advice from police “slow down and drive to conditions” still relevant.
