After a shutout in San Antonio Friday the Manitoba Moose defense did not have the same result in a 6-1 drubbing at the hands of the Texas Stars.
The host Stars jumped out to a 3-0 lead before the Moose were able to get on the board. Scott Kosmachuk scored the Moose’s lone goal.
Texas controlled the game for the most part and outshot Manitoba 36-26. Connor Hellebuyck stuck it out the whole way, making 30 saves in the loss.
After back to back nights in the Lone Star State, the Moose return home Monday for a pair of games against Iowa.
