57-year-old Thelma Krull was last seen in July while out on a walk in the Harborview South, Valley Gardens area.
Volunteers gathered Saturday morning to plaster the city with new posters of Thelma.
Friend of Thelma’s, Connie Muscat tells 680 CJOB they’ve printed 2000 posters and have added specific pictures to the poster of what Thelma was wearing the day she went missing.
Cathy Lucas has been helping in the search from the beginning.
She says she doesn’t know Krull or the family, but it hits close to home.
“I live in this community. We just want to take back our community and be part of this. Hopefully with these new posters we can help find her and find a clue. It just hit close to my heart.”
Meanwhile, Krull’s husband, Bob, says someone out there must know something.
“We’re suffering here and we just want answers. The family needs to grieve if that’s what happened, if she’s deceased. We haven’t given up.”
He adds it’s really hard.
“Until you’ve gone through this, you have no idea. I hope no one else has to go through this. We really appreciate the communities support.”
Police have only found Thelma’s glasses. Bob says police are still recieving tips, but nothing concrete.
