At long last, April showers have come and gone, and the warm weather that western Canada has been hogging is finally coming to Manitoba.
42 millimetres of rain fell in Winnipeg in a 48 hour stretch over the weekend, but that’s on the lower end of the scale for the province.
Selkirk received 47 mm while Deerwood, just northwest of Morden, got 56 mm of rain.
And while we may have had a wet and soggy weekend, 9 centimetres of snow fell in Neepawa.
But with a high of 15 today, 19 tomorrow and 20 on Wednesday, the long wait for beautiful spring weather appears to be over.
