A Manitoba group that researches children’s health care is getting another million dollars from Ottawa.
It’s called TREKK and they support families with sick kids.
Dr. Terry Klassen says renewed funding over the next four years is a big boost.
“Canada really has been a world leader in producing high quality research to help guide the care of acutely ill and injured children,” says Klassen.
Local MP’s Robert Falcon Ouellette and Terry Duguid promised the money today.
You can read more about what TREKK does at the Children’s Hospital Research Foundation website.
