Twenty-nine year old George Prieston was shot early Thursday evening on Wellington Avenue near Maryland. He died in hospital.
His dog was also shot, and had to be put down by officers.

Police are asking anyone with useful information to come forward, by calling 204-986-7983, or Crime Stoppers at 204 786 TIPS (8477).
The suspects are both 25 years old — Raymond Ducharme and Shawn Poitra. They’ve been charged with first-degree murder and detained in custody.
