WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Jets have re-signed Adam Lowry and Joel Armia to two year contracts.
Both are young players who were restricted free agents.
Armia, 23, will make $925,000 as an average annual value. He had 10 points in 43 games with the big club last year after earning a call up from the Moose. He was part of the Evander Kane trade to Buffalo that also brought Drew Stafford and Tyler Myers to town a couple years ago.
Lowry, 23, was drafted 67th overall by the Jets in 2011. He had 17 points in 74 last season, his second in the NHL.
Both contracts are one way deals, meaning both players would have to clear waivers to be sent down to the AHL.
