WINNIPEG – Winnipeg Police are investigating two separate North End stabbings that happened within a 10 minute period.
The first took place around 4:00a.m., Thursday in the 500 block of Magnus Avenue. The second happened just minutes later on the same street.
Police say the 34-year-old man was walking along Magnus when he was confronted by two men and stabbed. The second victim, a 32-year-old man, was in the area during the first stabbing and was attacked by the same suspects.
Blood could be seen splattered on the sidewalk and near a home in the area.
The victims were taken to hospital in critical and unstable condition.
Two men have been arrested. No word on if any charges will be laid.
