STRATHROY – We are hearing from the taxi driver who survived the blast set off by terror suspect Aaron Driver as he sat in the back of the cab.
Terry Duffield is furious that police did not warn him as he waited in the Strathroy driveway for five minutes for the 24 year old.
He tells 680 CJOB the police put his life in jeopardy.
“When they were done questioning, I said okay, now that you guys have all your questions answered I have one question. And that was, why was my life jeoproadized, why did no one take my life into consideration?”
Duffield has not returned to work saying his nerves are so bad, he is now seeing a councillor.
He’s now also taking several pills a day for pain and anxeity.
Driver, a former Winnipegger, died during a confrontation with R-C-M-P last Wednesday after making a video that suggested he was planning to detonate a homemade bomb in an urban centre.
