WINNIPEG – The family of a missing 21-year-old woman, who hasn’t been seen or heard from in two weeks, is asking for help in finding her.
Christine Wood, who is originally from Oxford House First Nation, was last seen in the Polo Park area on August 19th.
The family was in the city for a medical appointment, when Christine went out one night, but never returned.
Her family says this is not typical for her and they are deeply concerned for her safety.
They add Christine is familiar with Winnipeg, having studied at the University of Winnipeg and she usually visits the Osborne Village area.
She is described as aboriginal, 5’6″ with an average build and shoulder length dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing a green top with a red striped Adidas jacket over top, denim shorts and carrying a white purse.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Service at 204-986-6250.
