An appeal will be heard this upcoming week regarding a vacant building order on the James Avenue pumping station.
The building is set for renovations which will cost millions of dollars, to convert it into a commercial and residential development.
The station has been vacant since 1986, and the order says the owner has to get a boarded building permit, or secure all its openings.
The order was filed on September 7th, and on September 16th, CentreVenture Development Corporation filed an appeal, saying the pumping station is now a construction site, not an empty building.
The appeal will be heard on Tuesday.
