WINNIPEG – A two vehicle crash on the Perimeter Highway Tuesday morning sent one person to hospital with serious injuries.
The crash happened just before 6:30 a.m. when an eastbound vehicle crossed over the median near Wenzel Street and collided with a vehicle heading westbound.
RCMP say the 26-year-old man from Winnipeg in the eastbound car was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The 42-year-old man from Landmark in the westbound car wasn’t hurt.
Although alcohol is not considered a factor in the crash, the eastbound driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
RCMP officers are still investigating the collision.
