A 29 year old man is dead following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 6, approximately three kilometers south of St. Laurent, Manitoba.
RCMP say a southbound pickup truck crashed into the back end of a cube truck that had spun out of the northbound lane and was in the southbound lane facing south.
The 29-year-old man pickup truck driver was from the RM of Coldwell, he was pronounced dead on the scene.
Another 29-year-old man from Winnipeg was driving the cube truck. He has no injuries.
Slippery roads were a large factor in the crash as there were wet patches all along Highway 6. Alcohol is not considered to be an issue in the crash and both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
A RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
