Winnipeg – The Jets have added a couple of extra players for their upcoming, final road trip of the season. Rookie Forwards Kyle Connor and Jack Roslovic have been recalled from the AHL Manitoba Moose for the games Tuesday Night in St. Louis and Thursday in Columbus.
Connor has averaged nearly a point per game since being assigned to the Moose on December 9th. The 20 year old left winger has 23-19-42 in 49 games, including points in 14 of his last 17 games with 15-9-24 during that stretch.
The Jets first, 1st round pick of the 2015 Draft (17th overall), began the season with the Parent club and had 1-3-4 in 19 games.
Roslovic, also 20 years old, is the leading scorer on the Moose with 13 goals and 32 assists for 45 points in 61 games. The 25th overall pick from the 2015 Draft helped Team USA win a Gold Medal at the World Junior Tournament with a 5-4 shootout victory vs Canada in Montreal. The Columbus, Ohio native also represented Manitoba at the AHL All Star Classic, hosted by the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
In addition to the road games vs the Blues and Blue Jackets, the Jets 2.0, finish up their sixth season in Winnipeg with a home game versus the Nashville Predators on Saturday Night.
