WINNIPEG – Manitoba has a new Children’s Advocate.
Daphne Penrose is taking over the job, effective immediately.
She’s a social worker and former acting CEO with Winnipeg Child and Family Services.
She has 10 years of experience in the CFS system including time as a frontline worker and has been working in the public sector for 28 years.
Penrose replaces Darlene MacDonald, who served the maximum of two terms.
