WINNIPEG – Two more people have been arrested and charged with murder following the fatal shooting of Shania Chanel Chartrand last month in West Broadway.
Chartrand, 21, was shot and killed on Spence St., just south of St. Mary Ave. on March 12, 2017.
On Tuesday, officers were investigating a pair of robberies – one on Main St. and another on Atlantic Ave. – and took three people into custody.
Tyrone Anthony Chippeway, 22, and Ashley Marie Bezecki, 27, were also charged with second-degree murder in connection to the death of Chartrand.
This comes after Lacy Sorokowski, 22, and Christopher Ryan St. Paul, 24, were arrested and charged with second-degree murder on Friday.

Const. Rob Carver said investigators are not looking for anymore suspects.
“Chartrand was shot and killed at that location (and) we believe all four were there part and parcel with that murder,” Carver said.
Carver could not comment on a motive or the relationship between the four suspects and Chartrand.
“It’s so hard for the family, for the community, and our own investigators put their heart and soul in this,” he said. “We’re glad that there is some conclusion at this point, but just a heartbreaking situation.”
