WINNIPEG – A robbery victim is warning other women after her purse and car were stolen while she shopped.
69-year-old Muriel Delawyche had her purse swiped from her cart at the SuperStore on Fermor last month.
With her keys in her bag, the alleged thief then took off with her car.
Delawyche tells Global News she now sees so many people making the same mistake she did by leaving their purse unattended.
“You really have to almost have your purse attached to you all the time, unfortunately we can’t trust people.”
There is an arrest warrant out for 50 year-old Marcel Albert Paul, who we first told you about last week.
Police said he also struck up conversations with three seniors and managed to get personal information out of them.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Winnipeg Police.
