Jets Sign Burmistrov to 2-Year Deal
Winnipeg Jets agree to terms with forward Alexander Burmistrov on a two-year deal. Burmistrov signed in his home country of Russia to play in the KHL after failing to come to terms with the Jets two years ago. The 23-year-old forward was the 8th overall selection by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 2010 draft. In 194 NHL games prior to heading to the KHL Burmistrov scores 23 goals and 58 points.
