Winnipeggers Bare Legs For Kilt Skate
Some brave Winnipeggers ventured out into the cold at The Forks today for the "Kilt Skate", in celebration of Sir John A. MacDonald. The event is happening in five Canadian cities today. It's to celebrate MacDonald's birthday, which was earlier this month. Skaters aren't required to wear a kilt, but those who do will receive a commemorative toonie featuring the historic Prime Minister.
