MPs Vote to Expand, Extend ISIL Mission
The House of Commons has approved the Harper Government’s plan to expand and extend its military mission against Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. Federal MPs voted 142-129 in favour for the mission to be extended for up to a full year and authorizing bombing runs in Syria.
