Winnipeg Semi Driver Dies in Highway Crash
A 49-year-old Winnipeg man is dead after the semi truck he was driving jack-knifed and was hit by another semi. The collision happened in the westbound lanes on the Trans-Canada Highway near St. Francois Xavier at around 7:30 Sunday morning. The Winnipeg driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The 24-year-old Montreal driver of the second semi wasn't hurt. RCMP believe icy roads played a role in the crash and alcohol is not considered a factor....
