He'll be back to try and win... what was once his. Ray Simard has been nominated to represent the Liberal Party in St. Boniface in the next federal election. He had the support of the riding's 24-member association executive. Simard became an MP in the constituency in a 2002 be-election. He was re-elected in 2004 and 2006 before losing to Conservative Shelly Glover in the last last year.
