Neighbor’s Halloween Decorations Cause 911 Call
An Oklahoma man had the police called to his home when his Halloween decorations were thought to be a crime scene. Johnnie Mullins put a bloodied fake body underneath his garage door. Rebecca Feuntes was horrified when she saw the body and thought it was an actual crime scene. She called police to report the incident. Mullins explained that he was, “Just trying to scare people”. Police has a good laugh when the arrived at his house. Mullins wasn’t charged with anything since he didn’t technically do anything wrong. He added a second body to his driveway, which makes them look more fake.
Irresistible Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes
1 15 oz can pumpkin puree
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup evaporated milk
2/3 cup all purpose flour
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 12 cup muffin tin with silicone liners, foil liners sprayed with cooking spray or just spray the cups with cooking spray. Either of these three methods will make it easy to take the cupcake out after it’s cooked. Paper liners make it difficult to remove the cupcakes.
2. Mix the pumpkin, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract and milk.
3. Add the flour, pumpkin spice, salt, baking powder and baking soda to the mixture.
4. Fill each muffin cup with 1/3 cup of the mixture.
5. Bake for twenty minutes and let cool for twenty minutes.
6. Remove cupcakes from pan and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle more pumpkin pie spice on top and serve.
Makes 12 cupcakes.
Microwave Cheese “Danish”
Makes about 12 cakes
9 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon / 150 grams whole milk
5 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons / 24 grams egg white powder
7 ounces / 200 grams cream cheese
1⁄4 cup / 75 grams Lyle’s Golden Syrup
1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons / 25 grams all-purpose flour
1⁄4 teaspoon / 1.5 grams fine sea salt
1⁄4 cup / 10 grams finely ground freeze-dried strawberries, for dusting the cakes (optional)
Put the milk in a blender and turn it on low speed. Sprinkle in the egg white powder and increase the speed to medium. Puree the mixture for 15 seconds. Turn off the blender and add the cream cheese, syrup, flour, and salt. Turn the speed to high and puree until smooth, at least 30 seconds.
Pour the batter into the 1-liter canister of an iSi whipped cream dispenser and put the lid on. Charge with one N2O charger and then shake to distribute the gas and allow it to be absorbed into the batter. Repeat with a second charger. The batter should feel and sound fluid in the canister. Take twelve 8-ounce (225-gram) paper cups and use the tip of a paring knife to make a slit in the bottom of each cup and 3 slits around the sides to let steam vent as the danishes cook. The batter will be thick enough to not leak through. Dispense the batter into the paper cups, filling each halfway. Working with one at a time, microwave on high for 30 seconds. Immediately remove the cup from the microwave and invert it (with the cake still in it) and set it on a plate or tray to keep the cakes from falling as they cool.
Once all the cakes are cooked, refrigerate the cups (still inverted) for at least 1 hour, until they are fully chilled and set. Use a paring knife to loosen the edges of each cold “Danish” from its cup and shake it free. Use a small fine-mesh sieve to dust them with freeze-dried strawberry powder, if desired, and serve immediately.
Meet The Voice Of Siri
Hot Mulled Cider Recipe
1/2 gallon of fresh, unfiltered apple cider
4 3-inch sticks of cinnamon
15 allspice berries
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
7 pods of cardamon
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 Pour apple cider into a 3-quart saucepan, cover, turn the heat on medium-high. While cider is heating up, take a vegetable peeler and peel away a couple thick strips of peel from the orange. Press about half of the cloves into the peeled part of the orange. (You can also just quarter the orange and add the slices and cloves separately. I just like seeing the orange bob up and down.) Place orange, orange peel strips, the remaining cloves, and the rest of the ingredients into the sauce pan with the cider. Keep covered and heat the mulled cider mixture to a simmer and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 20 minutes on low heat.
2 Use a fine mesh sieve to strain the hot mulled cider away from the orange, cloves, and other spices. If you want, you can add a touch of bourbon, brandy, or rum to spike it up a bit. Serve hot. Add a cinnamon stick to each cup if desired.
Makes 8 cups.

The Next Gangnam Style?
A band from Norway called Ylvis might have given us the next “Gangnam Style” with their song “The Fox”. The joke is that no one knows what a fox sounds like, so in the chorus they make all these crazy sounds that could be a fox. The video is crazy too and suddenly everyone is in love with it overnight. (The band’s name is pronounced ‘Ill-viss’).

Grilled Cayenne Peaches
6 Ripe peaches
4 1/2 Tablespoon light brown sugar
1 1/2 Teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 Teaspoon Cayenne pepper
Whipped cream, for serving
Prepare a hot grill.
Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, vanilla, and cayenne. Place the peach halves in a baking dish cut side up and spoon the sugar mixture over the peaches. Allow to sit for 20 minutes or until the sugar dissolves.
Place the peaches on the grill skin side down and cook for about 3 minutes or until they develop some char and the sugar is slightly set. Turn over and grill for 1 minute, then quarter turn them to develop a nice diamond shaped grill mark. Remove, place on serving plates, and serve with a dollop of whipped cream.
