A Winnipeg aerospace company is set to announce completion of an F-35 assembly facility today - despite the federal government pulling back on its plan to buy the controversial fighter jets...
Magellan Aerospace on Berry Street says it's now ready to produce horizontal tail parts for the F-35.
It says it plans 1000 of the tails over the next 20 years.
But the future of the F-35 plan itself is in doubt after a new report released yesterday said the jets would cost over $45 billion dollars.
